This is one really fun album by 2 of the greatest guitarists alive today. The amazing Oranthi (From Michael Jackson''s This Is It) & (Richie Sambora from Bon Jovi) have teamed up to make an awesome Duo. The album is a fusion of multiple genres of music so there is something for most everyone on this one. I highly recommend you give this album a try!

Fun, fun, fun. Not just two shredders. Songs run the gambit from rock to country to pop. Highly recommend.

I expected some screaming guitar duets from these two, and while there is some hot stuff there, primarily Hellbound Train, there isn''t enough of it. As someone commented on one of Orianthi''s other albums, it''s mostly country rock ballads, which is fine but just not my preferred genre.

Much better than the two previous ep’s stuck together, which after ordering, only then reading the track listing, was my first impression. The songs (many of which I wasn’t a fan of on the EP releases) work so much better on this package than they did (certainly on the Rise EP. The five additional songs (to the previously released songs) include two covers (I got you babe could have been dismissed imo) and three ‘essentially’ solo tracks 2 RS and 1 O which are worthy additions. After initially being disappointed that the album was just a mash of the previous two EP, I’m glad I purchased as an album package on CD. The songs sound better, there’s better cohesion...and there’s a couple of big hits, that if there was a bigger band (let’s say Bon Jovi) moniker on the front would get massive attention on radio (free or not). Now, let’s hope RS&O keep their personal relationship going long enough to support the album and tour the songs

I had really high expectations for this album given Sambora’s undoubted ability as a guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Having listened to it a few times there are a few tracks which almost cut the mustard such as Hellbound Train, Take Me, and Good Times, but for the most part the songs lack identity and as an album it simply comes up way too short. It kind of carries on from the disappointing performances that I witnessed from RSO on the last Bad Company tour, which again lacked identity and purpose. Such a shame when you consider the talent that both R & O possess as musicians, songwriters, and performers. Oh, and to round it all off Bob Rock’s production is awful and probably ranks alongside Metallica’s St Anger in terms of sonic awfulness. Sorry, but this is just mediocrity squared!

Am a Richie/Bon Jovi fan so wasn''t sure what the collaboration with Orianthi would be like but have enjoyed this album. A variety of styles of music but they go well together. Don''t expect a Bon Jovi album or a Richie/Orianthi solo album. Am looking forward to the next one

A must for Sambora fans - this wasn''t quite what I expected but nevertheless I really enjoyed the album and thought Richie and Orianthi combined their voices amazingly. I saw them together a few years back in Islington and was very impressed then so I''ve been waiting for this album a while and it''s worth the wait. In my opinion a bit different from Sambora''s previous solo projects but I think if you give it a chance you''ll love what you hear - It''s all about opinions but I really rate this and am already looking forward to the second album (hopefully). Bring on the tour now !
